Eve had the great honor of acting as a member of the New York State Electoral College pledged to vote for Hillary Rodham Clinton as President of the United States. There were several notable dignitaries who were electoral college members including President Bill Clinton, NYS Governor Andrew Cuomo who acted as President of the NYS Electoral College, NYC mayor Bill De Blasio, NYC council speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito, and others. It was an incredible honor to be one of the few selected citizens to fill the role of an elector. Here are some photos from the event.
Established in 1996, Korean American Civic Empowerment (KACE) is a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization devoted to mobilizing the Korean American community in the areas of voter education, advocacy, developing young leaders, and grassroots organization of the community.
