New Filing Location for Form I-824

There is now a new filing location for Form I-824, Application for Action on an Approved Application or Petition. Beginning February 19, 2010 applicants must file this application with a USCIS Lockbox facility depending on which USCIS Service Center or local office approved their original petition. Please review the forms instructions on the USCIS website. If an applicant would like to receive an email and/or text message notifying him that USCIS has accepted the application, he can complete Form G-1145 (E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance).
