Change in Filing Location for Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker

The USCIS announced today revised filing instructions for Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker. This form is used by people sponsoring themselves for a work related green card or employers who are sponsoring foreign workers. The newest form is dated 6/14/10 but at the moment older versions of the form are being accepted. This change in filing location reflects an overall effort to transition the filing of benefit forms from USCIS Service Centers to USCIS Lockbox facilities. See attached.
