USCIS Update On H-1B Lottery And Receipting

The USCIS reports that the random selection lottery was conducted on April 12, 2007. The Update states that those selected will receive receipts. Some individuals may have received receipts for cap subject cases prior to April 12th. The USCIS has advised AILA that receipts dated on or before April 12, 2007, are not to be considered evidence that the case was selected in the random selection process.
